Tax Time – TurboTax Discount

Adonis, 23 Jan 2010 10:00 AM

image It’s time to do my taxes.  I just sat down this morning to start on them.  I love Intuit’s Turbo Tax – not only does Intuit sponsor our .Net User Group (http://northdallas.net), but their software always seems to net me a larger return than doing taxes manually.  A few years ago, I stopped doing my taxes twice (once manually and once with Turbo Tax) and now just trust Turbo Tax to do it better.

My first step is always the same – search for a good discount.  This year, it looks like T. Rowe Price has the best discount: 35% off TurboTax Online for Federal returns.  Through the link above, you can use a visitor link (no T. Row Price registration required) to go to the TurboTax site and get the discount.  You’ll Pay $19.45 instead of the regular $29.95.

Just click “Start Now” on the first page (shown above) and then “Continue” on the second page (“Visitor?  You still get a discount.”).

From my family to yours, Happy Tax Season!  I hope you get a big return (or at least  you don’t pay too much)!

Thanks Ado! I look forward to your TurboTax Online discount research every year.

My bank (Capital One / Hibernia) has a 25% discount but I'll use the T. Rowe Price one you found. :)
