Web 2.0 Summit Recaps – Two great session videos

Adonis, 16 Jan 2010 11:21 AM

imageI attended the Web 2.0 Summit in San Francisco in October as a guest of Microsoft.  I got to watch many of the sessions from the Microsoft lounge while meeting with attendees about social media and various other topics.

There was one particular panel discussion that I thought was awesome.  I tweeted, “The ‘Discussion: Whither Journalism’ panel is AWESOME!! Great PoVs! Watch the video later if you didn't catch it live. #w2s” and the conference retweeted me.  It was a proud moment for me :).

I was hoping the video would get posted and I just found it on YouTube so I thought I’d share the video and give my review.

Here are links to two of the panels I loved:

  • Whither Journalism, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3xnQRNQ8-8&feature=PlayList&p=F664D8C553A57C93&index=1.
  • Burning Algae: The Green Crude Revolution, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xEjWgvgsdGc&feature=PlayList&p=F664D8C553A57C93&index=30.

I've recapped and reviewed these sessions on my blog:

    • @Telcos, your systems are junk: If I don't have to pay for a call, don't make me dial 1+. If I dial 1+ and it's a free call, go, don't warn!
